Carmelo Anthony Biography

Carmelo Anthony was born on May 29, 1984, in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and attended Syracuse University. He received the NCAA MVP award for the 2002 – 2003 season. He was drafted for the NBA in 2003 and signed with the Denver Nuggets. In his first season, he helped the Nuggets enter the play-offs. He played on the gold-winning 2008 Olympic team.
