Yung Jan Chan Biography
Chinese professional female tennis player Chan Yung-jan was born on August 17, 1989 in Dongshih, Taiwan. She started her professional tennis career in 2004 and went on to play in all the major Grand Slam titles but was unsuccessful in all of those. Yung-Jan by far best performance in Grand Slam events was second round of Australian and US Open in 2008. Yung- Jan has quite impressive Doubles record as she has manage to win 7 WTA Doubles titles and was runner-up twice in Australian and US open in 2007. Currently Yung-Jan ranks world no. 63 in singles and World no. 22 in Doubles.
