French professional tennis player Virginie Razzano was born on May 12, 1983 in Dijon, France. She started her professional tennis career in 1999 and went on to play all major Grand slam Title but was unsuccessful in winning those. Razzano has won 2 WTA and 4 ITF singles title up till now but her performance in Doubles is not as impressive as in singles. Razzano career high ranking was World no. 24 on February 11, 2008 and she currently ranks world no. 40. At the 2009 Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships she upset World No. 2 Dinara Safina to progress to the third round. This was her first win over a current member of the world's top 5.
